Fight Club Rush 20 will be a landmark event for the promotion and will undoubtedly be the biggest and best show so far. That notion is only strengthened by the first fight booking which will see promotional standout Andreas "Bane" Gustafsson (10-2) take on Jakyp "Batyr" Tuganbaev (10-3) at FCR 20 in Västerås on June first.

"Bane" is a staple pf Nordic MMA with a 2018 silver medal in the IMMAF World Championships representing team Sweden in a fantastic and underrated run that deserves more recognition.

Thus far Gustafssons only pro losses have come via closely contested split and majority decisions to top competition.

In FCR Gustafsson is undefeated with several impressive performances and is coming off of two record-setting victories. Last summer Gustafsson defeated Toni Lampinen in "The Västerås Bloodbath" - a fight that won all kinds of awards including "Fight of the Year" by UFC Fight Pass, Gustafsson won via second round TKO.

In his most recent outing Gustafsson set a record for the fastest finish in FCR history, knocking out Dominic Schober in just ten seconds!

Kyrgyzstan's Tuganbaev is highly ranked in Russia at 34 among all active pro middleweights, number 60 out of over 800 pro welterweights and with 50% of his wins coming by way of knockout.

Competing professionally since 2019 Tuganbaev has made a name for himself on the Russian MMA scene and actually made his pro debut against Bekzhod Nurmatov who held a 9-1 record, losing in the second round via submission.

Currently Tuganbaev has wins in four out of his five last fights with wins over respected Russian competition such as Artur Karavaev.

Finding opponents for "Bane" is no easy feat, however Tuganbaev is unwavering in the face of adversity, playing the role of immovable object in the way of the unstoppable force that is Gustafsson. Fans will surely be in for an intense, wild fight at FCR 20.
