As Fight Club Rush continues to expand and become the fighting hub of Northern Europe we continue to see young talents from the Nordic regions face off. Now Sweden's Djaba Murtazaliev (1-0) is set for a meeting with Waltteri Häkkinen (1-0) of Finland!
The two will meet in the preliminary portion of FCR 16, which goes down on June third at Västerås Arena.
Murtazaliev is a member of the famed Wolf Pack at Allstars and trains closely with the likes of Khamzat Chimaev. He has proven himself a promising talent a an amateur, with a spirited performance in a bout with Eladio Bravo as well as a sensational submission win over Oskar Lang at FCR 11.
Murtazaliev made his pro debut against Raymond Johansson at FCR 13 in Stockholm. The Allstars product wasted no time putting on the pressure standing only to get the fight to the canvas where he finished via rear naked choke.
Häkkinen is a skilled prospect who has competed successfully in the Finnish National Amateur MMA Championships. He made his pro debut against Hama Dara in February of this year, winning via first round submission.
