Hardened strikers Wasiu Adeshina and Sakhi Qambari to meet in must-see match up at FCR 13!

Updated: Oct 11, 2022

As if Fight Club Rush 13 didn't already have several terrific match ups that are sure to fire up the crowd the latest booking may very well steal the already stellar show.

Featherweight strikers Wasiu "The Nigerian Jaguar" Adeshina (1-2) and Sakhi "Machete" Qambari (0-0) are now booked for a FCR 13 clash. The event goes down at Solnahallen in Stockholm on August 27th, topped off with two title fights.

Representing MACC Fight in Stockholm, Adeshina is a vicious striker who few are willing to stand with. He was out-wrestled by British grappling phenom PK Zadeh in his pro debut, losing a unanimous decision.

Following that "The Nigerian Jaguar" lost against Mario Markus via a controversial disqualification due to a knee that was deemed to be to the head of a grounded opponent. Adeshina and his team maintain that the knee his the shoulder.

Adeshina made his FCR debut in his latest outing, taking Eryk Walecki - a highly experienced and credentialed former member of the Polish national team in amateur MMA. The fight was a blood and guts affair with both fighters landing haymakers. Adeshina landed more and cleaner shots though, winning a thrilling unanimous decision at FCR 11.

Qambari is a hard-nosed striker who doesn't know the meaning of the word "quit". He has much striking experience in his home country of Afghanistan and is known for not taking a step back in striking exchanges.

He most recently competed at a local show in Halmstad, Sweden, taking on Djaba Murtazaliev. Despite some early success and impressive moments "Machete" ended up losing via submission in the second round.

He now trains out of the famed Allstars Training Center alongside the last fighter to defeat him.

When it comes to strikers in the lighter weight classes both Adeshina and Qambari are about as tough as they come, and their bout is a clear contender for "Fight of the Night".
