The first official fight is now announced for Fight Club Rush 23 and it is a flat out massive fight! Reigning FCR flyweight champion Rohulla Yousofi (6-3) will defend his title against reigning Battle of Botnia flyweight king Karvann Ahmadi!
Yousofi had all the potential in the world switching from striking-based combat sports to MMA in the summer of 2020, bringing a heap of credentials with him. Though his MMA career started off in a rocky fashion, he quickly developed and has since become a well-rounded MMA fighter.
In FCR rattled off two straight wins over respected opposition before getting the opportunity to challenge then flyweight champion Jonny Touma for the title on short notice! Yousofi showed heart but ended up losing a decision.
That wouldn't stop Yousofi, however, who quickly returned and scored an impressive win over highly-ranked Renato Vidovic, earning a rematch with Touma.
At FCR 20 the fans were given an incredible title fight, that would see Yousofi get the finish via third round knockout.
Last time out at FCR 22 Yousofi would make the first defense of his title, winning a decision over hyped Polish prospect Dawid Romanski.
Finland's Ahmadi made his pro debut in March of 2022, lining up two straight wins on home soil. Following that Ahmadi was handed two defeats, one at the hands of FCR alumn Safi Husseini.
Ahmadi would not stay in the loss column for long, though, bouncing back with another win in Finland and then defeating Anton Larsson at Battle of Botnia (BoB) 11 in Northern Sweden. He would then battle Swedish talent Sebastian Gonzalez for the vacant BoB flyweight title, getting through a tough first round to later secure a rear naked choke.
The stakes couldn't be higher as both Yousofi and Ahmadi are looking to cement themselves as the best flyweights in the region - yet only one can leave Västerås with the FCR title.
