Strikers Wasi Adesina and Glenn McVeigh to meet in "Fight of the Night" candidate at FCR 15

With just three announced bouts so far Fight Club Rush 15 is already shaping up to have one of the promotions best fight cards. The third bout is now official and will see established FCR fighters Wasi "The Nigerian Jaguar" Adesina (3-2) and Glenn McVeigh (2-3-1) face off in a featherweight contest.

Adesina had a shaky start to his pro career with a decision loss to British grappling ace PK Zadeh in his debut, followed by a controversial DQ loss. Things turned around when Adesina made his FCR debut against Eryk Walecki. The two stole the show at FCR 11, with "The Nigerian Jaguar" hunting down the decision victory following three thrilling rounds of action.

Since then Adesina has racked up two additional FCR wins via stoppage. He rallied back from a tough first round to finish Sakhi "Machete" Qambari in the subsequent round at FCR 13. In his latest outing at FCR 14, Adesina brutally knocked out hardened veteran Robert Nyström, capping off the year and his current win streak.

Irishman McVeigh also lost his two first pro bouts, including his debut against undefeated current UFC phenom Muhammad Mokaev. McVeigh would then go on to pick up an impressive decision win over IMMAF standout Abdulmanap Magomedov.

In his following bout McVeigh would go the distance with Bilal Tipsaev, the bout ending in a controversial draw, sparking a rivalry. McVeigh then made his promotional debut at FCR 12 against finn Mici Saaristo, winning via quick submission early in the first round.

This set up a rematch with Tipsaev in FCR's debut in Stockholm last August. While McVeigh was game and gave it his all despite less than stellar preparations, he would go on to lose a clear-cut decision after three rounds.

Both Adesina and McVeigh prefer to keep the fight on the feet, much to the delight of the fans. Despite many great fight announcements to come, this bout could very well steal the show.
