Fight Club Rush will return to Västerås on November 26th with the promotions 14th event and a real firecracker of a fight has just been announced.
Top-tier featherweights Alexander Lööf (4-0) and Fernando "El Toro" Flores (10-10) have now been announced to meet in a must-see bout at FCR 14!
Lööf trains alongside Tobias Harila, Andreas "Bane" Gustafsson and many others at Västerås Fight Club. As an amateur he quickly built up a reputation for knockouts with his "right hand from hell".
Lööf made his pro debut against European gold medalist Amir Malekpour at FCR 9. It was close up until the final minute of the last round when Lööf fired off a vicious right hand, ending the fight.
Since then Lööf has amassed n impressive 4-0 record, including a close decision win over Samuel Bark in the main event of FCR 12. The young Västerås fighter is currently one of the hottest featherweight prospects in Sweden.
Flores is no stranger to any Nordic MMA fan or promotor, as he has been taking and winning tough fights for over a decade in both amateur and pro MMA. With wins over the likes of Michel Ersoy, Juuso Halme and Pietro Menga, Flores has solidified his place in Nordic MMA as a tough outing for anyone, who never backs down and who is always ready to throw down.
At FCR 6 Flores faced Tobias Harila for the unofficial "Bad Boy of Sweden" title, losing via knockout in the last seconds of the first round. That is the only time that Flores has ever been finished as a pro.
Since then Flores has won four out of his sev
en following bouts, losing a decision to rising superstar Felipe Lima, but holding wins over the likes of Simon Sköld, Sten Saaremae and Robert Nyström.
It will be youth versus experience when Lööf and Flores meet in the center of the cage - regardless of how it ends the fans will surely be the biggest winners.
